I am planning on a thru hike starting March 1 2016. Been training for a while and should be ready by then to give it a go. It would be awesome to meet some folks that will be hiking the trail at the same time.

I was in this class, but now have to move it out to 2017 due to some surgery and finances. I'll be watching this group closely and cheering y'all on. And picking any SOBO's brains for how it goes, since that is my directional choice.

I just saw this movie on hiking the Appleton Trail and I am going to do it in 2016! Plus I can't wait to get to Kent and check out those drug parties!!! All kidding aside to I'm starting April 5 northbound and have been looking forward to this for about 20 years !!

Section hike 2016, Springer to HF, starting 4/25/16. Hopefully, section hike HF to Katahdin in May 2017 to complete my thru hike.

I too intend to start at HF on May 1st, to continue my plan to section the AT in four years. This will be my third of four sections, planning to go to Rutland Vt.

I did Springer to Damascus in 2014, Damascus to Harpers this year.
Who knows, I may just complete the entire 2nd half at once next year.

Maybe I'll see you at the kick-off!
