From a safety standpoint I now only use alky stoves with a material built in that absorbs the alcohol. If you knock it over (when not if) you have far less chance of spreading a fire and you will lose no alcohol. I used to cringe when I would see people cooking in the shelters with an alky stove. You knock that over and you have instant fire dripping through the cracks in the floor. I have several of Zelph's stoves but that Venom has a seriously high coolness factor and is very safe.
