    :banana On Springer Mountain in 30 days

    Well, packed up the condo and moved my stuff into storage today. Will be hanging out with my youngest for the next few days then head to the ATKO. From there a trip out to see my mama in Oklahoma since she seems certain i'll get eaten by a bear and will never get to see me again if I don't come visiting first Will be wrapping up March with a long weekend with my two girls and 3 grandbabies. March 31 will see me heading to GA being driven by a dear friend who, out of the blue, called and asked if she could drive to the trail and walk the first few miles with me as I take off on April 2nd - which, by the way, happens to be my birthday. Will be toting extra Little Debbie Cakes to share with whomever I end up camping with that night. Hiking the AT after being driven there by a dear friend- best birthday present ever!!
