If anyone here has paired an Exos 58 and a Wild Ideas brand Bearikade Expedition food canister please let me know if the canister can be stored horizontally inside the pack. If you have any complaints about that canister please share them. Thanks!

Ditto for me. I'm about to pull the trigger on an Exos 58; my Ursack fits horizontally, but the canister I have is much too tall for that.
As previously posted, I am also invested in how the Bearikade Expedition canister fits in the Exos 58.
The dimensions are on the interweb. Cobble together a mock up.
However, at 9" dia. x 14 1/2" long, I recall taking a look at my enormous Dana Design Terraplane and thinking that the Expedition might not fit horizontally inside the main pack bag. It would ride horizontally above the main bag held in place by the four straps of the floating top pocket. Would that be possible with the Exos 58?
I found reviews that included a BV 450 inside. Nothing on the Expedition.

Theoretically speaking.
The perimeter of the Bearikade Expedition is 47 inches.
Osprey lists the perimeter of the Exos 58 as 56 inches.
It might work.

Do the Bearikade folks have a zero tolerance return policy? Do you own the Exos 58? Can you find one locally and verify the dimensions? It is a fabric bag. It will change shape as needed up to a point.
What is the custom length price?
Novel idea: Call the folks at Osprey. Ask them if the Expedition will fit the Exos 58.

Good ideas. I have not checked with Wild Ideas about their return policy. Their custom sizes are +$20 and 3 weeks longer delivery, which to me is reasonable.
I do own the Exos 58 and I'm confident that I could make the Expedition work vertically, but would prefer it horizontally (or at least have that an an option).
