    I wonder if they have discontinued dispersed camping in MD now that the shelters are open again.?

    Most likely. The article says only one campground is left closed and it sounds like it's one not on the AT.

    Pogo is on the AT at approximately mile 1045 NOBO or about 3 miles north of Pine Knob Shelter.
