PART CT SEGMENT 3 IS CLOSED. The Forest Service has begun a timber thinning project closing CT Seg 3 mile 0.0-7.5, as well as the parallel part of FS Rd 550 in the area of Buffalo Creek. CLOSURE IS FROM JAN 20 THROUGH APRIL 30, 2015. Remaining open are CT Seg 2 (all) and CT Seg 3 mi 7.6 Meadows Campground Road to the end of Seg 3 at mile 12.2, FS Rd 560, aka County Rd 68. An alternate route to the CT closure is possible using Road 543 between Buffalo Creek and the Meadows Trailhead and possibly the Nice Kitty Trail between 543 and the Little Scraggy TH.
