Default Water - Carvers Gap to 19E

A small group of us will be doing this hike early next week. Are the water sources still running (Stan Murray, Over Mountain, Bradley Gap)? Any other water sources you might recommend in this section.

Thanks in advance for any information that you might have.

Its been hot and quite rainy in that area.

Some of the best sources on that section are north of the Grassy Ridge split, below the road at the Barn, and Bradley Gap. Doll Flats and Stan Murray are not always the best but should be flowing.

Keep your head covered. it will be hot and sunny on the balds.

Keep an eye on the weather. It can get rough on Roan.

Thanks Tennessee Viking. I appreciate your input. We have done this section before but always in the fall. I expect the sun can be quite intense out on the balds.
