Partner for May 1st Start Date

Hey there! Been plannin on doing the 2016 Hike for awhile now, trouble is convincing my mom its safe to go alone. Ive tried all the arguments but realistically the only way im going to be able to go is if I find a partner. So! im looking for a girl to start with me maybe for the first couple hundred miles (or more! ) around May 1st as thats when I get done with my finals Spring semester. Send me a message if youre in a similar boat or if you're interested!

I'm leaning towards starting my thru hike on or around May 1 and I'm sure others are as well! I'd be happy to hike with you if our dates end up lining up! I'm sure my mom would feel better if I wasn't alone either. Tho my 17 year old brother may potentially join me in June

hi ladies! I am also from Gainesville FL and planning on hiking at the end of April// early May! I don't know if you're planning on doing NOBO or SOBO but i was thinking about doing a flip flop hike! Is that something you'd be into? My parents are also concerned with me going as a woman by myself (can't say im not worried either.) I am 23! I hope this works out!

we're getting close to May!! If any ladies want to start (+/- a few days) around May 3rd cause thats when plane tickets are cheap for me I would love to have a partner!! age isn't too important to me as my parents would probably feel better if i went with someone older anyways please let me know/PM me!
I am now looking to flop for a few weeks from harpers ferry going north until i get tired of it (at least 2 weeks) !

Just to keep this thread up to date: I'm looking at a start date of April 23 from Amicalola. I'd be happy to have someone else on the trail to start with. I'll be camping up on Springer to officially start the AT on the 24th.
