My wife spent 3 hours doing that stretching with a tuna can thing, to no avail. She also used a sharpie around the inside rim of the can while holding it off the edge of the counter an inch or two. Nothing worked.

This is what I used, everything you see lined up on the fron of the work bench went into the pot, the smaller beer can was used for coffee, which I never took the time to make so I discarded it, the stoves are sized to lock into the bottom of the cans and are very stable.

That's pretty damn amazing that all that spread out stuff is in the second pic.
My experience goes back to the days of heinie pots. In order to carry it in my pack ,it required a tupperware carrier. Then it weighed nearly as much as my Aluminum cook pot. The can couldn't stand the rigors of using a camp fire for heat. So , I passed it on.

Oops.... My apologies. Nice kit Drybones.
We use Foster cans, no ridges. I make them with pineapple can rings on the inside or on the outside (top). I then cut the bottom off of another can and use that for the lid. A peice of folded gaffers tape on top is the lid handle.
I use a silicone band for a height stop when using a caldera clone, and also to pick the can up when hot.
For the wrinkle pinholes, I stick a peice of foil heat tape on to cover it. Seals the leak, takes the heat and lasts a long while. You can carry a peice with you for longer trips.
For protection and eating out of, I use a Glad container with a Rubbermaid lid. That container fits inside a Dannon 32 oz yogurt cup (.9oz) perfectly. Stackable plus more protection. Then I make a Reflectix cozy (.5oz) for the yogurt cup. Thats my hot drink cup.
A quart sized freezer bag filled with yummy cooked food fits inside the Glad container well. I fold the ziplock portion over the edge. EZ no mess clean up.
This set up gets packed near the top in the pack. It works for us.

Walk it off.
Put it inside of a Tang container. Can handle hot liquids, 2nd container and crush proof.
