Thanks for sharing.... Many of those shots took me right back to the trail, and made me want to hike it again!

Excellent!!! thanks for sharing. Nice, concise flic with fantastic shots, nice little video clips and good trail chronology. I even like the music. Looks like you were breathing hard going over Forester???

I've been gone a month (finishing my AT) and was worried that you might bail due to that smoke situation! So glad you didn't let that minor concern stop you.

Forester kicked my arse...I camped just a few miles below it....I made the mistake of going stove less on second half of trip and I was definitely malnourished!! Sick of PB and Nutella!!! Dropped about 12lbs

I enjoyed it. My 2nd attempt of the JMT ended at MTR on the 20th of August 2015 due to the dense smoke in the canyon.
I had abondoned the idea of finishing the remaining 110+ miles; however, after seeing your video got the got to do it.
    Liked your GoPro pics.
    Q. is your pack a ULA? if so, which one? I have been using a Catalyst which needs replacing.
What month did you do it in?

Fantastic! I'm in CA, new at backpacking, so far just a couple overnighters. My goal was to get comfortable with the overnight trips, then do a section of the TRT (Tahoe Rim Trail), then do the whole TRT. Now I have to add JMT also.

Cool video & pics. The Sierras are spectacular. My 2004 JMT hike is easily the prettiest hike I've taken. You did the hike pretty quick. I'd be interested in your itinerary for such a quick hike.
