Default Had a great little walk near Palmyra on Sunday

Figured I'd share with people, even went and saw the world famous Stone Elephant.

The trees were still a little green on this segment, however the Ash were amazingly golden.

I went through there about 10 days ago on the final day of my IAT thru-hike. What a wonderful segment (and great blog post, Kid A) !!!

Things are finally looking up! I need to do that section again. It was pouring rain when I went through. I'm hitting the west bifurcation next week cross your fingers that the weather holds.

The Holy Hill section is a nice hike. What's unexpected is that though a lot of homes are in the area, it dosen't seem like it. South more by the river, you have to be wary of high water situations which makes the trail impassable and in the past has taken the bridge out. I've hiked the South Kettle Morraine section several times and each time find a different experience... And once almost run over by a mountain biker.

All the blue-blazes on that section really take it from "good" to "great" in my opinion. The Blue blazes take you way up on the moraines.

As I continue to explore the state, ended up wandering the IAT near Medford, WI a few weeks ago. Was an absolutely beautiful 5 mile walk, wish I would've had more time to adventure further with my buddy.

Nice section near Medford. It's nice to see the pictures of the trail.
