Who holds the most thru hikes for a female?

Last I knew the record for most thru hikes for a female was three. I know of at least five that have done three thru hikes.

Does anyone know of any other females that have done more than three thru hikes? If so, how many and who?

Wikipedia said the same thing. 3 times it is. Her total time for Thru hikes #2 & #3 is very impressive.

Other than that... can't help much as that's the only one I know off hand who has done three, but can at least confirm it wasn't 4.

Dorothy Laker did the complete AT 3 times.

The final time was in sections over several years so wouldn't be recognized in today's environment. And there may have been interruptions in one or even both of the others.

Grandma Gatewood did not do three thru hikes if one of them was a section hike.

That would be the same for Dorothy Laker, if one of those was section hiking.

I have contacted Rambunny and she told me that she did three consecutive thru hikes all back to back. She holds the record for three consecutive thru hikes.

Bismark's hiking partner Hopper has never completed any thru hikes. She has done a couple of section hikes connecting them all together but never completed a thru hike.
