I usually get out on the AT every day. It's just a short walk out the back door through the woods to the trail.
Took a little walk to Stratton Pond with a GMC group on New Year's Day. A perfect day/way to welcome in the New Year. Hope to see some of you on the trail this year in Vermont.
It's been 5 days for me. I'm a hikeaholic.
6 weeks here
Sunday. There's no choice for "a few days" or "week."
I was at the Doyle last week but I didn't cross the Duncannon square to the white blaze so it was a few more weeks back that I was actually on the A.T. Actually not, come to think of it, that same day I was at a business on High St. next to a blaze. So it wasn't as long as I thought.
2 weeks ago...sort of . I crossed it for a Nano second on my way to setting up camp after a blue blaze circuit hike.
Getting lost is a way to find yourself.
Four weeks, and it's way too long.
Two years. *sigh* Too many health issues that I hope have been put to rest. I have great hopes for this year!
Over 2 months. Sad since I live so close to almost all the trailheads south of Hot Springs. Family health issues and life in general get in the way.
In October, Spent 5 days and nights in the rain from Fontana dam to Davenport, soaking wet. Can't wait to get back for a 3 day hike to Hotsprings this winter or spring.

About a month. Planning to do a few miles around Allentown Shelter this weekend.
I enjoyed one of the first cold days of the season on the trail on Tuesday. I think it was in the 20s'. Rausch Gap area combined with some side trails for a nice 12 mile afternoon hike. Usually at least once every two weeks when time allows once a week.
Reason I put "never Been" as an option is I was curious if there are any long time member who just enjoy the whiteblaze community who have never been.

It's too crowded now..... and I've discovered the Sierra Nevadas are nicer.
Nov last year; Elk Garden to Marion VA
Living in the Upper Midwest, its not easy to get to the AT, but I was last on the AT during the summer of 2014-for those of you who live near our nations long distance trails, you are lucky!!!!
