Default Trail Campsites nearr VA 606 (mm 608)

Any good trail side campsites near VA 606 crossing? Trent's Grocery is too far off trail and I am hoping for something immediately along the trail within a couple miles of the VA 606 crossing.

I heard what you said about Trent's.

It is less that .5 off the trail. Get to the road and take a left.

Great place to take a shower, pick up mail drop, etc.

    Small convenience store.

If solitude is what you seek, when I went through mid June, there was nobody else. Just picked up package and left.

To address your original post, I do not remember any, but that section was a blur.

    Hope this helps,
    Floyd

Yes, the trail crosses Kimberling Creek just south of VA 606. Wide creek with a nice footbridge over it less than 100 yards from the road. If I remember correctly, there are a couple of good tent sites along the side of the creek further from the road.
It's all good in the woods.
