Now that the question of cuben tape is raised, well,is there a tape that is a suitable substitute?Do tapes other than cuben tape react negatively or is it the "gram thing" again?

PM me with address and I'll pop a piece in the mail to you today.

I've used Seam Grip and other tapes but cuben tape is far better.

Cmoulder...thx for the great offer but just realized I had a few other wear spots so I'll just wipe on seam seal and see how it works....its probably about time for a new food bag but still serves its propose and I ordered some odor barrier bags to line it so a few lil holes is ok...thx agsin

I used regular silver duct tape on my Zpacks food bag. Worked just fine. Maybe didn't look as good.....but it's cheap.
