    Default charcoal filter

Where can you find a charcoal filter to go along with a sawyer filter?

I believe these are only good for 300 gallons. I have been using one, but I doubt I really need. I think all the stream/springs have been goo tasting so far anyway. Put this on after you sawyer.

+1 above, you can also get it on Amazon. I bought it to use if the water has a "skanky" smell going in and I can't avoid it all together. I think I've actually only run water through it 2 maybe 3 times.

    Call it a comfort item

I use a Brita water bottle as a second filter after a Sawyer.

A Britta water bottle with filter is 3.8oz . No you don't need one . I will admit it's not the only not needed thing in my pack. I Enjoy the better tasting water . Sawyer squeeze first .
