October section hike

Going on a long hike around Oct 15. I'll be starting at Wilbur dam road at Watauga lake heading north. My truck will be at Damascus. When I get to Damascus I'll drive to Pearisburg and leave my truck and get a shuttle back to Damascus and head north again. Anyone think they might want to make this hike with me your more than welcome. Thanks Lee

I have completed that section, but my hiking buddy from Danville and I are hiking in NJ and VT this fall. We usually start traveling from Lexington and do a couple of hikes each spring and fall. Feel free to contact me if you would like to join us.

HI. I completed that section exactly in early May. I just got back from doing 19e to Wilbur dam road last weekend just to do another adjoining section. Used Rogers man outfitters for the Wilbur dam shuttle and great creek for 29e and Wilbur road drop off and pick up. Both are good peoples. If your slightly thinking to do Roan man area to add in let me know or Damascus to Rogers mum extension get ahold of me. Happy Trails
