Default Water from Damascus to Mt Rogers NRA

Hi, does anyone have recent info on water between Damascus and Mt Rogers NRA? Radar shows some thunderstorms at the moment and it looks like the tropical storms are going to miss it.

hiked this exact stretch 3 weeks ago and there were no issues at that time with finding water.

Was there last weekend. Lots of rain in the past month, no problems on water. Looks like more rain this evening and then we'll see what that tropical system does over the weekend.

Got back a few days ago and generally there was water at all major sources, however the shelter springs are close to dry. Trimpi and Old Orchard were low but could be pumped. Wise could barely be pumped but the stream nearby was fine. Thomas Knob was OK. The spring after White Top mountain was strong. Lost Mountain was a spaghetti thin stream and could not be pumped. Saunders was very thin also but better than Lost Mountain.

I just posted in a thread in the general forum about water a little north of here. Hiked Atkins to Bland a couple weekends ago and the streams were fine but the springs were getting low and slow. They were fine but it has continued to be dry in these parts for some time now and no rain forecast for the foreseeable future could begin to cause some issues.
