Not original, not clever... but dude that's an amazing song. Houses of the Holy makes a solid end to end play too from back when people made an album not a single.

When it's crappy (or more accurately I'm feeling crappy) my 'Long Songs' playlist or a good album I like start to finish.

If rain makes me feel a bit somber, rather than fighting it with a cheery song, I find it can be useful sometimes to embrace the somber. So the song that comes to mind is Randy Newman's "I think it's going to rain today." Here is a version I really like by Dusty Springfield:
