Default TT, spring near Wagonwheel shelter

Heading up to Flat Rock overlook soon. Wondering if anyone has been in the area of Wagonwheel shelter and can provide info on the spring near there?

    Thx,
    Twilight

Just an update, we did make an over night hike near here 2 weekends ago, and there is a creek about 100 yards or more south of the shelter flowing quite well.

Hi twilight. Question about your visit to Wagonwheel shelter: Did the shelter have a bear pole, or other bear resistant storage device? Regards.

Peejar, sorry I haven’t been on this message board much in a while and just found your question. I do not recall if Wagonwheel had a bear or bear box. My guess would be, no. Plan accordingly and rope for hanging food.
