Default Shuttle for 6 DWG to Bear Mountain

I'm trying to arrange a shuttle for 6 hikers. We would like to leave our car at Delaware Water Gap and get dropped off at Bear Mountain, New York. Hoping to start our hike July 3rd. Any suggestions or recommendations would greatly be appreciated.

Can't help with the shuttle, but here's another idea: take the bus from DWG to Penn Station in NYC, then another bus to Bear Mountain. Not sure how the costs would compare, since you are six people, but it might be worth looking into.

You do realize that you're talking about 7 humans and 6 backpacks? You'll need a 3 row Suburban or van. Or two 4 humans and 3 packs shuttles.
Any way you could break the group up? Each group drives to one end. Hiking in opposite directions and meeting after the hike to trade cars?

You can try this one, listed in the AWOL guidebook and out of Delaware water gap and mentions shuttling to Bear Mtn specifically.: Edge of the Woods Outfitters [COLOR=rgb(0.000000%, 0.000000%, 100.000000%)]570.421.6681

I've used Edge of the Woods. Chuck owns it and shuttles. Very reliable. Can shuttle long distance. He has others he uses if you need a second driver.

Drop everyone off at starting point. Drive the one (or two) vehicles to the endpoint and shuttle back the one (or two) driver(s) to the starting point. It will only add about 1.5 hours to the trip. Google has that ride at 1.5 hours. Call it two hours. It's 75 miles. At $2/mile that's $25 a person. You only need one shuttler this way, without a big vehicle..

Best idea yet. It's always best to hike to your vehicles. Early, late, rain or shine your vehicles will be where you need them when you need them.
