    Default Hot Springs Question

I'm planning to hike from Clingmans Dome to Hot Springs this May and was wondering which airport is near this town. What are my best options to return home to Florida? Sorry in advance if this question has been repeated.

We stopped a section at Hot Springs last spring, got a fairly reasonable ride with a local lady to Asheville, easy transportation from there wherever you may want to go.

Asheville is a easy but local airport. Tri-City is the near large 'hub' airport.

How are you getting there? You'll likely use the same airport for both trips.

Asheville is served by American, Delta, Allegiant, Elite, and United. Allegiant has direct flights to 4 Florida cities.

We didn't have the cheese sticks. Shucks! I will have to go back. We enjoyed the patio over the creek. The beer was good. The food was good.
    A nice experience all around.

Those cheese sticks are insane! I had 3 servings over 2 trips to the tavern.

All the food posts makes me happy we are starting our next section beginning in Hot Springs. The problem will be actually making it out of town without stopping at all the great places to eat!

Another place to check out is the Hillbilly Market! Fresh fruits and veggies, the deli sandwiches are huge and very reasonably priced.
