    Geez, we lost a guy for an entire day and didn't immediately call in for SAR...we gave the guy a chance to get himself out, and glad we did as he found his way back to the car (thank God for InReach messaging).

    You got to understand how some people are these days. i meet a man who complained that there wasn't any flush toilets on that part of the trail! I kidded you not!

    I hope that you directed him to the trail with flush toilets.
    I introduced my 16 year old granddaughter to Forest Service Campgrounds and pit toilets. Train them right. Train them early.
