Goose Pond Cabin Closing for the Season (2023)

Hi Folks,

Upper Goose Pond Cabin (UGPC) will close for the season on Sunday Oct 15th (last night to stay will be the 14th). Hikers are welcome to camp at the two adjacent tenting sites or on the porch year round (please, no cooking or candles on the porch--use the picnic table in back). We'll leave a few bottles of spring water (untreated) on the porch for another week or so).

We'll open again in mid-May 2024.

Thanks for a great season, looking forward to next year.

Thanks for the info!! I did the section sobo from VT to PA last Fall and slept on the porch, Beautiful Place especially inside the Crayola Box of colors!!
