PT5 - Highpoint TH, GA to Rabbittown Rd, Burns AL

What a success this spur of the moment trip turned into. PT5: 80 miles in 4 days from High Point TH, GA south to Rabbittown Rd, AL.
My amazing wife supported me the whole way
My sweet Lori (dog) has walked(ran2-3x) the 206 miles of the Pinhoti from Northern Terminus South. She has also completed the Sheltowee Trace.
Every day started before the sun.
We met 5 other hikers on trail, one an old friend.
Found myself in an active forest fire at Santa Clause Rd.
The roadwalk was a low point.
The weather was perfect.
Staged camper out of lock and dam campground in Rome, Ga.
Top notch place 1.3 off trail; laundry, great Wi-Fi, bathrooms. Don't think they have a shower.
