Woody Gap parking

I plan on hiking the Georgia Loop again in late February. I'd like to start and finish my hike at Woody Gap. Is it safe to leave your car at Woody Gap?...I'll be hiking for 5 days.

I don't think I'd leave my car there for five days. I'd feel much better finding a hostel or cabin and then getting a ride to the trailhead.

Leave it at Above the clouds hostel call them and see what they would charge you and it would be much safer.

Yeah, I stayed at Above The Clouds each of the last 2 years. Great hostel...they didn't charge me to park there 2 years ago, but did charge me $10 a day last year, even though I spent 2 nights there each time.

Woody Gap is very safe. It is now busy 24/7 even in the winter. Apparently the entire ATL metro area discovered this wonderful quiet area during the pandemic and now refuse to leave.
