I use Kite Tyvek for a tent footprint. The stuff they use for protective suits. Sometimes called 1443. Lighter and not so stiff and noisy.

I use the heavier Tyvek for my tent footprints, and they range from ~3.5 - 5.0 ounces (1P - 2P). (I'll have to look into that lighter option...)
I like the protection for the bottom of my tent and sleeping pad.
I cut them myself. Put a new cut piece in a bucket of lukewarm water (or in washing machine - no detergent) and squish it around a bit until it's all wrinkled, and it becomes much softer and quiet.
