Default Any chance of adding an edit button to posts and thread titles?

This would greatly improve useability of the forum and user experience. No one is perfect and having to add in all kinds of replys makes the thread a mess and makes findng information difficult. Not to mention it is annoying.

It says under Posting Permissions at the bottom of the page, “You may not edit your posts”. Is it only posts you started?

It looks like the option may have gotten turned off. It should be working now.
It should work for any post you created or replied to.

Found the editor button. Thanks. My pictures were taken vertically, show up vertically on my software at home and were vertical in the picture thumbnails in the Whiteblaze editor(using insert image) yet rotated horizontally when posted (can opener thread). How do I prevent and/or fix this in the future.

In some other forums I belong to, thread titles can't be edited because the URL is based on that title. I suspect that is also the case here.

If you can edit the first post you should be able to edit the title. I've never had a user report otherwise that I can recall. Over time, I think sometimes where the thread title box was located made this occasionally difficult. I kind of remember the title box changing place a little when the software was updated.

Threads have a unique ID number so the title is tied to that. I just played around with it. As long you get the threadid number correct, the title is not important. I changed the title in the link below and it didn't matter, at least as far as letters, I still came back to this thread when I pasted it in.
