    Default Rock district easier hikes.

My son needs to complete the eastern PA section. I intend to support his hike. I'd liked to add to my total A T miles. Are there any suggestions of day hikes, out and back or point to point, just a few miles on somewhat less rocky pieces I can do while he hikes up in the rocks? . . . possibly at the start and finish of his longer day sections? I've hiked both ridges on either side of Duncannon (not the climb east though) and they were fun.

I recall the stretch between PA 309 south to Fort Franklin Road being very smooth. About 2 miles one way. And I think for a little bit further past that, but memory fuzzy there.

How about the Blue Rock Family Campground area?
