Help me out and donate some items for my hiker porch box. I have been doing this for years. If you don't approve of my asking for donations then I understand. But there are plenty of hikers I have been able to help with a much needed item or food because they were piss poor. With the price of foods and gear these days many hikers just scrape by all the way to Kathadin. If you have any used packs and don't need them give them to me. Tents too. Sewing kits but no clothing.

Thank you, to the old friend from here on Whiteblaze.net for your giving. I edited my post. It is upsetting when folks have to disapprove of my asking for donations so I can pass that along with others in need. I never keep anything for myself when folks send items for my hiker box. Before Covid hit there were so many old and new hikers helping me with food and gear items.

At any given moment when we are inundated with many hikers someone may have lost or had stolen all of their gear. And I have been able to help them. Not only me but many others in Damascus. Lumpy, from Mt Roger's Outfitters have helped hikers plenty of times. One Way Ministries and their hiker Ministries have been there helped much. The mens group I belong to has stepped in when I needed help to help a hiker.

I love helping others when given the opportunity. And I know there are others here that love to help too. And I hope some of you will send me some old used backpacks or tents at least.
