Default SOBO 1595.6 - any place to pitch a tent between Jenny Knob and Helveys Mill shelters?

At SOBO mile 1595.6, parking is indicated in The A.T. Guide. Is there a enough room and some flat ground to be able to pitch a few tents there or nearby? We'd like to make it a bit further than Jenny Knob Shelter but not as far as Helveys Mill Shelter. Wondering if this might work instead.

I remember there being a tent site just North of VA611. It’s close to the gravel road.
Plaid is fast! Ticks suck, literally... It’s ok, bologna hoses off…

Can't remember that spot, but do remember several nice campsites along the ridge from 611 to Helvey's Mill. I'd assume all were dry, so bring water

This is correct. Also south of there are a few places along the ridge like Hank said.
