Default Smartwool tees on clearance yet?

has anyone seen any Smartwool teeshirts on clearance yet? We're getting into the cold season, so I assumed that short sleeve summer clothing should be discounted at some point. Smartwool gear is so damn expensive, but oh so nice. Would be nice to find shirts with $20 knocked off, to stock up for next years thruhike.

There's a decent smartwool retailer on eBay. I've ordered from them twice, same day shipping (reasonable rates) both times. Good selection. Not quite $20 off but a good deal. Adrimartrading is the name, I think.

Keep an eye on www.steepandcheap.com It is kind of a crap shoot for what they have, but sometimes you get lucky. They had a smartwool T on earlier for $33 shipped. It was only up for 20 minutes or so, so you need to keep checking. But that's half the fun.

SteepandCheap have a nifty desktop alert that lets you know when a new item appears, and brief description.

It is a pretty good place to get Smartwool and similar brands, but you might want to give the eBay dude a try if you have a specific need.

Buy an XL. It's wool; you can shrink it.

For something that you think was expensive, they sure were snapped up fast.

It's different and not all that bad.

$30 bucks is a lot of money for a T-shirt, but it's made out of wool and should last a thru-hike. It probably wont stink as much as a synthetic either.

I wonder if there is a way to use the SAC rss feed and post an update somewhere on WB. Like a SAC Tracker.

    Why bother?

Get the SAC Desktop Alert and just watch things move.

    Default Luckily

I read of the SAC on here and signed up for the AOL IM alerts. I was lucky to be in fornt of my PC when the Smartwool T's went up and was alerted. Very cool system. I found the RSS feed on My Yahoo was too slow and didn't alert me.
