Thread: Hobo Central

    Default Hobo Central

Haven't used the internet much until recently. Just tried to visit hobocentral.com and it is no longer there. When and why did this come about?

Sawman, our webmaster, had/has things going on in his life lately and he can't tend to Hobocentral and 3 other websites he had. Hobocentral has been down since around June.

It was a great alternative to hotmail for email, too! Kinda cool to be [email protected]. I'd also set up a friend of mine, Tom Horn, with email there whose only access to computers was at the library. Hope they get back.

To have a site where you can just say what you mean and mean what you say.......

    That would be classic.

I'd be grateful for one where you knew you could say what you say.

Got to hang out around some blue-blazing hobo hiker trash from hell 10 years ago. Lone Wolf, Pirate, Wee Willy. Good people, fun, and wise in a way you'd never get from a bunch of internet posting. Added a lot to my thru-hike. Didn't even give me a hard time about my poles or filter or hiking pure.

We could sure use a little more of that mellow attitude these days. I guess those Hobos knew a thing or two.
If people spent less time being offended and more time actually living, we'd all be a whole lot happier!
