    Default Katadin Summit Nov. 2nd

The 5 Amigos, Gypsy"04", Moose, Dozer, Lumpy, and Rider.

Dozer, Lumpy, and Rider, are the last of the Class of "07" to summit the Big K, and we all did it Friday, the 2nd of November. What a blast. Perfect weather, clear sunny day, no wind, and temps in the 40's.
You couldn't have asked for a better day.

Shhhhh! The Park is supposed to be "closed"!
Day hiking after Oct 15th is amazing in BSP, no people, BIG moose, and often excellent weather!

Any summit is a good one, it takes luck to hit a great one! Congratulations on a lifetime of memories.

    Hey there!
Good to hear that group made it, as I was waiting for y'all but had to leave my post 10/27 and wondered about the rest. I know what happened to Zero, so yes I believe you folks were the last. Thanks for the update, I particularly appreciate it.

    Bluebearee,
Below is from Zeros journal today - looks like he is back and is still going to try to summit.

"Hopping on the bus in Harrisburg, PA this morning at 4:45 am and staying at The Charles Inn in Bangor. Tried to rent a car; but, too many issues. "Ole Man" will pick me up and take me to "Ramblin' Rose's" and then I will put back in at Kathadin Iron Works Road on Saturday the 10th and finish on Saturday the 17th! I will not be able to update until then!"
