    Default light year weight

I think you are mistaking about the weight of your light year 3d. Should be about 38 oz, not 22. If there was a 22 oz 25 degree bag out there for $80 everyone would buy it.

Which makes me wonder why you went with the 3D? I did not have good luck with a 3D bag I had. After 3 years the insulation was all clumpy and it didn't keep me warm at all. On the other hand, my BPing partner has the down version of the light year. It weighs 34 oz and he recently used it at 23 degrees and slept fairly well. He has had it for 3 years now.

My two cents. I hope it works out for you.

yeah a typo. Luckily for me, I dont need the lightyear to last three years just 6 months.

What do you think of the SpinnTwinn? I've always wondered if it was possible for a good enough manufacturer to build a spinnaker tarp with enough caternary curves that it could be pitched so completely taught as to eliminate sag and flap. Do you find that there's any wall sag in your SpinnTwinn when you have it pitched as tight as it can go?

I pitched it today and it was tighter than my hammock tarp. it can also be pitched in a few different ways with enough imagination. Best investment so far.
