Oh, man. I'd have to leave right now to be up there when he passed Snowbird. It's my foster daughter's 1st birthday tomorrow so I'd better stay in FL. Maybe some other weekend. The way he's movin', when I finally do get a break, I'll have to drive to NH to see him. I know, I'll be on the Cog Railroad with my camera ready in case he does the deed.

Cool place. My wife stayed there in 2003. Probably the easiest place to meet up with her. I-40 from Greenville is pretty easy.

Tuesday night at Campsite #48, and Wednesday night at Laurel Gap Shelter.
Then he put in a very good days hike on Wednesday. I'll be interested to read his opinion of the hike up to the Balsam Ridge Trail.
His journal is now updated through the 4th. He's supposed to mail me more pages when he gets to Hot Springs.
I'm guessing he's planning on being in Hot Springs by Sunday, Dixi?
