Pack, Gregory Baltoro 65, 5lb 10oz. very well built and I lovethe way it packs and carries weight.
Tent, MountainHardware Drifter 2. 5lb 11 oz. My condo in the woods! Room for me and my gear inside. If I choose to save weight I can use the rainfly and foot print for shelter.
Bag, My old trustyField and Stream 20degree mummy. 3 lbs. when I hit the lottery I will get me a nice new one Down bag. But fornow, this one works great.
Pad, Thermarest Prolite plus self inflating. 15 oz.
If my math serves me that puts my base weight around15lbs.
Its only too heavy if your not willing to carry it.

I have a number of different pads: Thermarest Neoair & Trekker, Klymit Static V and Big Agnes Q Core SL Just depends on the temperature and my mood as to what I bring.
Osprey Aether 70 I know... it's far from ultralight but it's so comfortable when i have to carry everything on solo trips.

Totally not an ultralighter. My three-season kit (which I think might be a "winter" kit down south):

Bag REI Radiant Down 20° Long 2 lb 13 oz
    Pad Therm-A-Rest ProLite 1 lb 0 oz
Tent Tarptent Notch, half side panels, trekking pole handle adapters 1 lb 10 oz
Pack ALPS Mountaineering Orizaba 64 litre 3 lb 12 oz
    Total 9 lb 3 oz

The pack carries well for me, so I'm not sure I'd want to go lighter, at least without going a lot lighter on the contents. The bag is heavier than it might be, but the prices rise very fast to go to a lighter one. It's EN rated to -8 °C (17 °F), and I'm pretty sure I've pushed it down to about 10 °F by wearing fleecies inside it and adding a blue foam pad to the Thermarest (and doing the other usual tricks, like banking the tent with snow). The Therm-A-Rest is full length, but in "shoulder season" I get cold without a full-length one. And the tent is, well, darn near perfect.
I always know where I am. I'm right here.

What did you strip off the Ohm to save 6.5 oz? The water bottle cords, hand straps, and bladder holder?
