Unscrew cap & Fill Nalgene with H2O. This is most easily accomplished using LIQUID water, which you'll find somewhere between zero and 100 deg. C (~32 deg. C and 212 deg. F) near sea level. If it isn't certified as
drinking-safe, add a suitable sterilization agent such as Potable
Aqua or Halizone, or boil water for several minutes to kill
bacterial, Giardia spores, or to evaporate off ethanol. (NOTE: Do not boil the water in the Nalgene, as the melting plastic will dramatically influence the taste. If you choose to boil water in the Nalgene, go to http://www.nalgene.com to order a separate Nalgene for purposes of boiling. Order ONE (1) Nalgene per boil attempt. Document results
if successful.) Transfer water into Nalgene receptacle and replace screw cap. When prepared to drink, remove screw caps, raise bottle to lips, and receive water in mouth. Swallow. Repeat. When finished drinking, replace
screw cap. Continue the process of drinking until Nalgene is empty. Note that the Nalgene can be reused. Refill Nalgene using instructions above. Repeat.
