Default Weather in Ga/NC this week

Time to batten down the hatches....looks like Wed thru Sunday will be a true test of will for those starting out at Springer today...forecast calls for 5-6 inches of rain (who knows what the higher elevations will get...my guess is MORE) and some sustained wind gusts of 40mph on Thurs or Friday...good luck to everyone out there and remember no rain, no maine.

Yep...I'll be out there Friday in it! I think the brunt is today and tomorrow. It will be a nice muddy mess for us. YEAH!! It's kind of funny because that is how it was last year when I started. HA!

They're calling for a major severe weather outbreak now that should at least into the lower parts of the North Ga Mtns. The chance of long-track tornadoes is being thrown around. Everybody take it easy out there.
