    Default Small / lightweight radio?

Looking for a small light weight radio AM/FM. Any suggestions?
There are so many miles and so many mountains between here and there that it is hardly worth thinking about

All nokia cell phones have a built in am/fm as well as many other phones, kills 2 birds with one stone. Charging is easy on the smaller phones as well, with solar chargers or battery. I use a combo of both to charge (charge the batteries with the solar and the phone with the batteries) I always have juice when I need it.

I had one of those. It was great until it quit working. I got some cheap earbuds to use with it. I still am looking for it's replacement.

I loved my Sony - Digital tuning TV/Weather/AM/FM stereo band radio.

Listened to it almost every night before sleeping. Got to listen to American Idol a few times too

    Default Grundig

Grundig A6. I love mine. The Air band is crap, but the rest works fantastically. I can pick up stations in south america and china. Sometimes I can get a rebroadcast of the National Weather Service on the Air Band - and that is cool to have. Oh yeah, weight and power - 7 ounces with batteries (2 AA). Battery life is incredible if you don't use the backlight. It has a good speaker and headphones can be used - the head phones that come with it are not too good.
I had the little Sony Am/Fm/ Weather radio - this one blows it away on all aspects, except weight. But I no longer carry a book - so it saves me some weight in that respect.
Just my personal favorite - post bashers stay off my back, please. (sad that I have to post this)
