Yesterday was the summer solstice. Just wondering who hiked naked and where and how was the experience. I did not hike completely naked. I did wear socks and shoes and a bumper sticker across my chest that said, "Hi, my name is Lonewolf"

I can tell you from experience....it's a lot easier to hike naked than it is to hike with naked feet!

Really glad I didn't, since I bumped into a family with two kids -- a boy and girl. That would have been embarassing. And the thorny bushes I had to walk through might have been a little more painful if I was naked. Ouch!

im at free state hostel. left harpers and jester and jack yesterday morn and walked 22 north to the shelter and 8 to here this morning. in two days of walking with matt from dc, we have seen no thru hikers and one sectiner. no nudeity thank god.im here all alone without a soul all day. took a shower. washed my shirt and undys and shaved. trashed the property and found 6 small peices of trash. kudos hikers and bonepac.this place has a great swing and a hammok i naped in and its wonderful. i made art and listened to music. matt from dc hiked thru this morn without stopping here cause his p's are comming to pen mar tonight at 7. i need a ride there and am waiting to ask the pac's.

Yeah, I did. It wasn't really a trail, just a private road while I was walking my Dad's dog by myself while up there visiting for Father's day. I said, what the heck, it's 5:30 am. So I shucked the clothes, kept the socks and shoes on and laughed like a little kid. It was fun.
