Default need info on distance in VA

Can anyone tell me the mileage between us 130 [James river footbridge] and US 60? I'm trying to plan a 3 day hike for my 12 year old and I want to make sure it's a easy 3 day hike for her. This will be her 2nd overnighter and her first multi-day hike. thanks

James River Foot Bridge is at AT mile 775.1 and US60 near Buena Vista is 797.1, so it is 22 miles between the two points.

knowing the total distance is good but you should do as jack says and also note the water sources and campsites/shelters areas

I'd do Shenadoah personally if you want an easy hike for her to get her used to a multi day trip. But that stretch isn't too bad, just not that interesting, IMO.
