    Default Thunder Dome 2 Tent

Can anyone relate their experience with the Thunder Dome 2 tent sold by Montbell?
Hiked from Springer to just North of Hot Springs and the flip flopped to Massachusetts and hiked South until Labor Day in 2010. Plan to continue in 2011.

The trail was here before we arrived, and it will still be here when we are gone...enjoy it now, and preserve it for others that come after us

I don't know about Montbell, but Mad Max had a pleasant experience with it...

The walls slope dramatically - user height definitely under 6 foot tall.

I had one of these briefly before selling it and buying a SMD Lunar Duo. Wanted something lighter for an AT Thru. They are fine for a single man tent.. bit of a squeeze for two and the side entrance is a little odd. Was in it for some moderate rain one night and light rain another, no issues with condensation or leaking. About all I could say actually.
