Default Maine: Shuttles from Abol bridge area back to Monson?

Anyone know someone to call from Abol Bridge area who would shuttle to Monson? I plan on leaving from Monson monday morning, not sure when I will arrive at Abol Bridge, but will be probably 8 or 9 days, as I will have a small dog with me.

    Ideas? Thanks.

Consider hitch-hiking, it's pretty easy to get a lift. I imagine a shuttle to Monson would be very expensive.

I had plans of hiking the 100 Mile Wilderness in August but the trip fell through. I was quoted $70 for the shuttle from Monson to Abol Bridge. Very reasonable in my book.

My wife and I are doing the 100 Mile Wilderness starting on August 19th. We are using Katahdin Air to fly us to Monson and then hiking back North. We will be leaving our car at the Sea Plane base and hitching a ride after we summit Kitahdin. The flight was $110 per person for a total of $220. Pretty close to the cost of a shuttle and a lot better scenery.

I guess I will meet you on the trail. A friend and I are starting at Abol Bridge on August 21 headed south. We should pass you some where around White Cap Mountain.
