I love chops/pork on the trail. I marinade them in a strange mixture meant for chicken and then freeze them so they stay fresh for a day or two. They are heavy,but tastey.
Oil,vinegar,poultry seasoning,beer,granulated garlic,onion powder,pepper,salt.
Like I said ,strange combo...but it really does taste good.
I would agree, I also like Lawery's garlic pepper, a handy spice to take along.
Dried Cholula hot sause is the only condiment I use.
Pan fried chops sprinkled with adobo and cooked with onions. Served up with a side of black beans and rice, topped with sour cream.
