Default The Apocalypse Is Upon Us (Now What Do I Do?)

OK, so assuming we're 2 years minus 5 days away from the pending apocalypse what are your plans? What bits of gear are going to help you sustain? What's a scenario and how would you handle it?

Personally, I'll be almost relieved that the Zombie Apocalypse will be coming in late December because the cold will slow 'em down a bit.

Let's not debate that it will happen...just assume. A friend put it best...after seeing "The Road" he was surprised how similar the post-apocalypse was to Rust-Belt Pennsylvania. The end is Nigh.

Wait, I thought the apocalypse was in 2000. Is this like the procrastinator's Y2K?

    Default Y2K Re visited

My neighbors believed the world was going to end with the Y2K hyp. Bought lots guns, gold coins ect. One of their relatives ended up stealing all of it. And the world did not end. Better luck next time the world ends.

I'll going to be raptured before it happens, but till then I'll just be hiking with my Circuit pack, my Blackbird hammock, and my Western Mountaineering bag.

Head North up 81 and look for something walled off that those zombies haven't overrun. Need room to grow food.

As long as there is Yuengling ..it won't be all bad.

(As fyi, a good chunk of The Road was filmed in PA...)
    (No Yuengling however...)
(My apocalyptic, Rust-Belt PA WILL have Yuengling, though)

I am surprise you guys even know who they were..You were probably barely 7 years old when they came out..Yep, at that time I thought all music sucked, until I got into my teens..

On topic, I am going to walk off 2011. Gonna walk around and stay away from cities.. That where all the action is going to be.. In the City..So I am going home!!!!

I gave up eating hamburgers along time ago..Too heavy and spoil to quickly in backpack...

Losing my Religion was a good song, but you are right, some of their songs were pretty off.

    Now back to our program..
