Planning a thru-hike in 2012 and already can't wait to be in Gorham, NH to have a nice cold Tuckerman's Pale Ale.
I've been disappointed to see it now in Florida. Took all the mystic out of it and my memories of sitting at the bar at the Port Clinton Hotel (back when it was hiker friendly).
It was like when Coors started leaving the west in the 70's, took the fun out of smuggling it.
The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.

Long Trail and Magic Hat are both great, but as far af VT microbrews go Rock Art takes the cake. Rock Art Ridgerunner, a barleywine, is my favorite. 7.5% ABV and tastes amazing!
