Anyone planning Shasta this year?

I'll be in San Diego on the 19th so yes I am thru hiking!! I plan to do Shasta as a side trip when I get there.

I spent a week hanging out on Shasta in '87, and I have always wanted to go back and include a hike to the top. It's not looking like this year, but it is definitely on my "gotta do" list.

Shasta, Rainier/wonderland trail, whitney, JMT/yosemite, Tahoe rim Trail. Man there are a lot of side trip possibilities out there. I am planning on the JMT and half dome and whitney. If the hiking window were longer I'd be up Shasta.

My PCT plans fell through. Me and my 'hiking partrner' split sooo I didnt wanna hike with any bad vibes. I'm figuring 2011 after I graduate. Anyway I'm jelouse, your goina have a blast! Enjoy
