Route 17/I-87 in New York to Kent, Connecticut week of April 4 to 9.
Finished in unseasonable heat with a few bugs tossed in for protein. Ticks are already out, too.

Next sunday i start a section from Dick's Creek Gap to Rock Gap.
Due to a foot that's healing oh so slowly the wife and I probably won't get in a new section this summerWe may try a bicycle touring trip instead for a week or two. Then if come the fall my foot is better, and I'm still unemployed, I want to hike from New York City to my son's home in Ohio. There are trails to follow frowm NYC north into the Catskill Mountains, across NY's southern tier, and into PA. Then after the Allegeny National Forest, in PA, the route will include a lot of road walking. But everything depends on the foot right now.

Dick's Creek Gap to NOC week of May 1st. That will give me Springer Mt. to NOC.
I am only 59 and started last year. Hopefully in a few years I will be able to do it all.

Long Easter weekend Hot Springs to Spivey Gap and at some point later this year the north half of the Smokies over a 3 day weekend... maybe more to be determined as this working to make a living thing seems to get in the way of living...
