Bent Gate Mountaineering has the GoLite RS 1+ Season quilt for $99 right now. It is actually GoLite's first "green" quilt from what I understand. It is 25 oz for the regular and 27 oz for the long. I just bought one the other day and waiting on it to come in Wednesday. It is said to pack down to the size of a roll of Charmin! I will see.
Here it is:

I've had a Pounder for years and like it alot. I don't use it much anymore, as I hammock now and have switched to a DIY quilt as a better fit for hanging, but when I still slept on the ground it was my 3-season bag. I've taken it to the mid-thirties without a problem and I'm not a particularly hot sleeper. Just be sure to keep it fluffed when you're not on the trail and fluff it out again when you unroll it every night. As long as you do that, it will be fine for what you're doing.
BTW, mine weighs in at 17oz. with the stuff sack, so it actually lives up to its name.

I've had a different experience with my Marmot Pounder than Strategic posts above. I like mine, I like it's small size in my pack, but at 40f I'm chilly. To me, it's a one-and-two-half season bag here in New England. I plan to hike the Long Trail SOBO in late Sept, and I will not be using this bag.
hey if you're a warm sleeper, REi sells a synthetic liner. i think its a "travel sack" but i've used it successfully down to 45 no problem... doesn't weight anything at all and its definitely cheap

Dicks Sporting Goods has a Marmot 600 fill down bag for $100 brand new, rated to 40, I've seen it and it's a nice bag, comes in a few ounces under 2lbs, seems fairly decent. I believe it's made specifically for Dicks.
I also have a Marmot Pounder and like it, and I generally hate synthetic bags, I like this one!
If you're really worried about using the Pounder alone, then pair it up with one of these Thermolite liners from Sea to Summit. They're good for another 10*-15* and weigh only another 8oz. That's good for 30* no problem, and probably a bit lower. If you carry a silk-weight base layer anyway, you could probably get 25* without any worries even if you sleep cold.

I wouldn't put a ton of faith in the temp ratings of those liners.

sure it's a long and it's probably only good to 50, but it's 20 ounces and $35. my 2 cents

scratch that...went with the Pounder. I figured it would get more use with Florida's warmer weather...
